The Infrared Fiber Tester Pro is primarily used for checking the signal output power of the optical communication equipment in fiber optical networks.
It measures the average power of a continuous light beam which emits from
the equipment or other optic sources. It measures power in both 850nm/1300nm
(Multi-Mode) and 1310nm/1550nm(Single-Mode) respectively.

The Infrared Fiber Tester Pro consists of a solid state InGas photo diode, signal
power measurement circuitry, and 2 digit LED display. Users just connect a
fiber cable between the transmission port of the equipment and the universal
interface on the Infrared Fiber Tester Pro, or they can connect to other light
source. The product will show the exact amount of the received power value
(in-dBm). The test ranges are 30dBm~ -15dBm in wavelength.

The FC-2005 Fiber Checker Pro is used for checking the defects of a fiber cable. It sends
a visible 650nm wave length red laser light through a fiber optic cable, the breaks or
faults in the fiber will refract the light, creating a bright glow around the faulty area.

The universal connector can be used for the most common fiber interfaces such as
ST/SC/FC/FDDA. It is suitable to test both single mode and multi mode cables. With an
optional 2.5mm to 1.25mm adapter, users can even test for 1.25mm fiber cables. The
visibility is up to 3 kilometers.

There is also specially designed power circuit included; it provides steady power which
avoids unstable laser output when the battery is low.

The output signal can be switched between CW or Pulse mode to get different visual
effects. There is a dust proof cover which will prevent dust from getting into the
inside of interface. The cover also helps avoid incidental exposure of the laser to
your eye.

The SmartFiber is an easy to use and lightweight fiber optic power meter that measure
power of light transmitting from an optical fiber. It utilizes an InGaAs detector for
improved sensitivity and temperature stability.

It tests for standard optical power from +3 to -60 dBm dynamic range with three calibrated
wavelengths; 850nm, 1310nm, and 1550nm. The SmartFiber comes equipped with a 2.5mm universal adaptor which can be used for all the most common fiber interfaces such
as ST/SC/FC/FDDA. It is suitable to test both single mode and multi-mode cables. With
an optional 2.5mm to 1.25mm adaptor, users can even test for 1.25mm fiber cables.
The SmartFiber can also send analog tone signals (270Hz, 1KHz, 2KHz) simultaneously
for identification purposes.
