The Tone Generator is a highly practical network installation and trouble-shooting tool, which features a single or multi-tone signal, two test leads and a 4-conductor modular cable. The signal emitted by the Tone Generator can be easily traced by the Probe, even when cables are in a bundle or hidden in a mess of punch down blocks or wall plates. The Tone Generator and Probe can be used to verify cable continuity, identify wiring faults, determine line polarity and voltage in network and modular telephone line.

Tone Generator Features:

2-position button for single tone or dual tone signal
Toggle switch to control 3 modes of operation
3-color LED indicator display for telephone line polarity, continuity and voltage testing
Black and Red Aligator Clips and standard RJ-11 plug to test individual wire or RJ-11 jack

Special inductive plastic tip, which prevents accidental shorts when using

The LANtest Pro is a small hand-held cable tester, which enables network professionals to quickly and easily verify the integrity of Ethernet twisted pair cables. In one step,
the LANtest Pro will test twisted pair cables for open pairs, shorted pairs, reversed pairs, crossed pairs and split pairs. The specially designed remote terminator is provided for one-person testing of installed cables. The Tone Generator function can be used to send a signal through your installed cables and the probe can trace the cable to locate the fault.
